  • What does IELTS mean?

    IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System.

  • How many skills are tested in IELTS?

    There are four skills tested in IELTS.

  • What is the weighting of four papers?

    The overall band is average of four individual band score. They all have equal weighting.

  • How many times can i take my IELTS exam?

    You can take it as many times as you want to. There is no limit.

  • How long does it take for my test results to arrive?

    Your result will be posted to you on 13th days after your exam. It is possible to get your result through sms.

  • Is IELTS getting more difficult?

    Cambridge English Language assessment has a rigorous process for designing IELTS test items that ensure the level of difficulty is consistent. IELTS is not getting harder or easier.

  • How long are my IELTS results valid?

    Your IELTS results are valid for 2 years.

  • Can I get my IELTS test remarked?

    You should contact your local IELTS centre to get the form remarking. If your result change and your band score goes up, you will get your money refunded. You have 6 weeks after taking your test to get your test remarked. Your test will be remarked by different examiner. It takes about 6-8 weeks for the result to arrive.

  • What is PTE?

    Pearson test of English.

  • How is PTE different from IELTS?

    PTE is a computer based test whereas IELTS is written on paper.

    PTE is conducted by Pearson.

    IELTS is jointly conducted by BC, Cambridge English language assessment and IDP education.

    IELTS grades are on a scale of 0-9, PTE grades are on a scale of 10-90.

  • Is PTE accepted worldwide like IELTS?

    PTE is accepted by limited colleges and universities. It is advisable to check if the university or college in which you are seeking admissions accept PTE or not.

  • Like IELTS is PTE also different for students and others?

    Yes, PTE also have General and Academics.

  • What is the minimum PTE score requirement?

    There is no fixed minimum requirement. It is advisable to check the minimum PTE score required for the university or college in which you are seeking accepts PTE or not.
